Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (WH Inbound & Outbound Freight)

Contract Period: 1yr.

Working Location: Dalton, GA 30721

Pay rate: $24/hr.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inbound Operations
  • Coordinate daily inbound shipments and receiving schedules
  • Verify shipping documents, packing lists, and delivery information
  • Monitor unloading activities and ensure accurate receiving transactions
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers regarding inbound status
  • Report receiving discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within WMS/ERP systems
  1. Outbound Operations
  • Coordinate outbound shipment schedules and carrier appointments
  • Prepare shipping documentation including BOL, labels, and shipment reports
  • Ensure orders are processed, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
  • Communicate shipment status and delivery updates to customers and internal teams
  • Monitor outbound performance and resolve shipping issues promptly
  • Support routing, load planning, and transportation coordination
  1. Operational Support
  • Maintain daily operational reports and shipment tracking logs
  • Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and operational teams to support workflow efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety policies, and customer requirements
  • Support inventory control and cycle count activities when needed
  • Assist with issue resolution related to inventory, transportation, or customer claims
  • Provide administrative and operational support for warehouse activities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or transportation coordination experience preferred
  • Experience with WMS, ERP, or shipping systems preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and basic computer systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
